There is One and only one God. The God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad and all other prophets of God (peace be on them). He is the Creator and God of all. The One and only God is a living God. There is no beginning and no end for Him. He was living at the time of Prophet Lot (peace be on him) and is living now and will live forever. He is Ever-Living. He is Just. There is no one more just than Him. Homosexuality was a sin then and it is now.  It is in the scriptures. The religious or political leaders, regardless of what religion they profess, who associate permission of these acts to divinity are utter liars.

Those who remain silent against evil are counted among the evil ones.

Homosexuality and Lesbianism have no place in Islam. This issue is clear from the primary source of Islam, The Holy Quran. No Muslim scholar, Imam, leader of a Muslim community or any Muslim can alter this injunction. A person committing such an act is in violation of God's Law and should seek repentance before God gives up on him or her. As the following verses tell us, it was the people of prophet Lot (peace be on him) who started this evil act and were severly punished by God.

We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? "For you practice your lusts on men in preference to women: you are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" But We saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who lagged behind. And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime! (The Holy Quran, 7:80-84)

A person who commits any sin, should seek forgive from God, repent and should never declare it as a righteous act and keep his or her sin hidden from others. Such a person will find God, the Most Forgiving and the most Merciful.

Let us all pray that God will spare us from His wrath. Let us pray that we will be among those to whom He has favored and not among those who have gone astray. Ameen.

Marriage in Islam

Marriage in Islam is an immutable, universal principle which is not bound to time and space. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Its denial is disbelief. If a person committing a sin against this commandment of Allah T'ala does not repent and give up, he is committing a major sin. Even worst is a person who publicizes it and works to promote it. Such a person is rebellious to God. There is no place in Islam for homosexuality or lesbianism. Commandments of Allah T'ala must be followed without questioning. When Allah T'ala told Adam (pbuh) to not go near the forbidden tree, He did not tell him why and neither did Adam (pbuh) asked Allah why. When Ibraheem (pbuh) was asked to sacrifice his only son, he did not ask Allah T'ala why. The principle of marriage as given above is a clear commandment by Allah T'ala and is valid until the Day of Judgement and for every person up-to and including the last person on earth.

Resolving Godly-unGodly conflict of marriage

Those who believe in God and that He created mankind with a purpose, also know that God gave a free will to everyone to choose a way of life, but with consequences. When it comes to marriage and permitted acts of intimacy, these are limited to husband and wife. Anything else is a sin in the sight of God. Those religious schools of thought, which consider sexual acts between the same gender lawful are stuck in a false rationalism. The Holy Scriptures tell us how God destroyed the people of Prophet Lot because of their open sexual acts between men. It is that fear of destruction of our towns and cities, which is making God-fearing people grief stricken. We understand that it is up to each individual to not even believe in the existence of God and not consider such acts evil. When done in private, these acts remain confined to the two individuals. It becomes a major crisis for everyone, when such acts are done openly and campaigns are launched to even make it legal. That is when we tremble from the wrath of God and fear for the destruction of our towns. We can only appeal to you that for the sake of peace and harmony for the people on earth, that please do not commit these acts. It is not a message of hate. It is in fact a message of concern and great anxiety. Concern for the person, as we fear that such a person may be thrown in the Hellfire. And it is a matter of great anxiety, as God may destroy the city inhabited by such people if they don’t repent and if others don’t advise them. The best way remains to be the way of belief and obedience in One and Only One God, as taught by Messengers of God, including Abraham, Lot, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be on them all).

Come! Return!  Come back home!
